Vehicle stolen in Secunda recovered in eMbalenhle
They recovered a Jeep Wrangler that was stolen during a robbery at house in Secunda on Saturday, November 26, as well as another vehicle stolen in a hijacking on November 25.
A silver Jeep Wrangler that was stolen during an armed house robbery in Secunda in the early hours of this morning, November 26, was successfully recovered in eMbalenhle at about 13:00.
A tip-off was received that the vehicle was spotted in Ext18.
Two of the three suspects were caught and arrested.
One suspect is still on the run.
Various electronics, vehicle registration documents and a 6.35mm Astra pistol were also stolen during the armed robbery.
These are yet to be recovered.
Police from Secunda and eMbalenhle, and MavCorp High Risk Response responded to the scene.
During this recovery and investigation, another vehicle was also recovered.
The only details available at present is that the vehicle was stolen in a hijacking yesterday, November 25.
