Vince and Dries from Dominators Den in Secunda win MMA fights

Van Vuuren won by a knockout in the first round of the fight, Bhembe was the real deal.

Fighters of Dominators Den excelled during April at various events with Dries ‘The Lama’ van Vuuren winning his fight on Saturday, April 2 in the GFC competition at Carousel Casino near Bela Bela.

Van Vuuren won by a knockout in the first round of the fight.

His coach Cedric Doyle said Van Vuuren showed a high fight IQ and followed the game plan to a tee.

Sifiso Hlatswayo also fought in the GFC event and lost his fight in the third round by a bulldog choke.

Doyle said Hlatswayo showed a lot of heart during his fight.

Another local fighter of Domintors Den, Vince Bembe, won his fight against Trezerguet Kanyinda at the EFC championship on Saturday, April 9.

Bembe won the fight by an unanimous decision and Doyle said Bembe was the real deal and it would only be onwards and upwards for him.

Young fighters in the children’s division of Dominators Den took part in a Submission Kings competition on Sunday, April 10 in Randburg and excelled.

Caylee Doyle, Armand Swart and Bhubesi Kruger received silver medals while Willem Steyn bagged a bronze medal.
