UPDATE – Baby Isabella moves hands and fingers after prayer and worship

“We understand that there are many people praying for her to come alive and while we were busy with the prayer and a song called, Come Alive in the name of Jesus, she began to move,” Mr Athol Stark, Isabella’s grandfather said.

ERMELO – Mr Joshua Stark, Isabella’s father, reported that Isabella began moving her hands and fingers for the first time after the anesthesia that kept her in a medical induced coma, was stopped.

Medical personnel began the process of warming up her body on Thursday evening, 16 September.

On Friday morning, September 17, Isabella’s vitals and brain activity were closely monitored, while her body was warming up.

During this process her intracranial pressure (ICP) began to spike again, but not to a point where doctors were too concerned.

To ease the stress on her body and brain, they slowed the warming process down.

At this time Isabella had shown no movement yet, and the family as well as the community were solemnly in prayer.

Doctors slowed down the process to warm her body on September 18, as her ICP levels were still too high.

During her father’s visit, he played a praise and worship song for her.

He also prayed for her levels to come down and anointed her bed.

From her room, he phoned family members and in the group call, they joined in prayer.

“Once we finished praying for her, and told her how much we loved her, Joshua noticed her ICP levels had decreased dramatically.”

A request was sent out on the prayer group for Isabella, for everyone to pray for her to wake up.
