Child and Youth Care Center (CYCC) in Ermelo appreciates kind gesture

The cost of running a household of about 13 children, is astronomical and the staff at the CYCC depends on every donation to keep their households up and running.

The three house mothers of the Child and Youth Care Center (CYCC) in Ermelo met on Friday, 14 May at Pick n Pay for a much appreciated shopping trip.

Ms Trudie van der Bank, secretary at CYCC, went out of her way to find the three sponsors who spoiled each mother with a shopping voucher.

Ms Mari van der Merwe, manager of CYCC, said: “We would like to thank Bhika Optometrist, the two anonymous donors, as well as Mr DJ Koch from Pick n Pay, for this incredible gift.”

Weekly needs at the two homes include six dozen eggs, 80l milk, six breakfast porridge boxes and cleaning supplies.
