Breyten Police arrests suspects, recovers stolen goods

Following the information, they traced the suspects and found the stolen items at a house belonging to the suspects.

Breyten Police arrested two suspects on 21 April at Kromkraans near Breyten, in connection with a recent burglary.

According to Sgt Thabo Mashegoane, spokesman of Breyten Police, they received a tip-off on the whereabouts of the two suspects.

Sgt Alfred Khanye and Sgt Kenneth Sehaswana rushed to Kromkraans.

Following the information, they traced the suspects and found the stolen items at a house belonging to the suspects.

The suspects appeared in the Breyten Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 23 April.

“The public is also urged to continue reporting criminal activities to the sector crime forum, street committees and neighborhood watch who are assisting the police in the fight against Crime,” said Sgt Mashegoane.
