Criminals rob Casual Affairs in Ermelo

He also stated this was not the first time that their store was robbed, it also happened last year.

Casual Affairs, a local company, was robbed by four men in Ermelo around 10.45am on 15 April.

According to Mr Riyaadh Momoniat, manager of Casual Affairs, they made the staff members lay on the ground, but did not harm any of them.

“One of them stood and guarded the entrance and made an excuse to get the customers in the shop, out,” Mr Momoniat said.

He also stated this was not the first time that their store was robbed, it also happened last year.

ACSU responded promptly to the scene and notified Ermelo Police who arrived on the scene later.

Const Nomcebo Msezane, spokesman for Ermelo Police, said, one of the suspects were armed.

According to her, police are also investigating three other local businesses robberies.
