Ermelo Police are on the lookout for a suspect in connection with kidnap and rape in Ermelo.
According to information received from Ermelo Police, the victim was hiking from Amersfoort to Daggakraal at about 8pm, when she received a lift on 8 April.
The vehicle was occupied by two men.
Police said when they reached their destination, the driver refused to stop the vehicle and drove off with the woman.
“He drove to Volkrust and forced her to drink something that caused her to lose consciousness.
“She woke up in an unknown place where she remained for a few days,” police said.
Police also stated the driver of the vehicle allegedly raped her.
