LCUC and AfriForum go all out in Standerton’s CBD

Stickers were removed from sidewalks in the CBD when the rain fell on Thursday.

The pothole-project of Lekwa Clean Up Crew (LCUC) and AfriForum, is off to a good start, as shared on social media the past week.

Potholes were repaired around Superspar on Tuesday, 3 November with sponsored tar.

The organisations thanked Allegro-filling station for fuel for the machines.

The team was busy in Schwickard Street on Wednesday 4, November and again on Friday, 6 November.

Stickers were removed from sidewalks in the CBD when the rain fell on Thursday.

Rubbish was also collected.

According to Mr Jandré Kasselman, a full-load of tar will be bought once finances allow it.

The next stop will be the area around the Standerton Show Grounds.
