Help Indawo yoSizo Kitchen Soup in eMzinoni to feed the needy

Various donations such as cabbage, carrots, potatoes, thick soups, salt, cooking oil, maize meal, soya, onions and any other ingredients that can be used in soup, are needed.

eMZINONI – Indawo yoSizo Kitchen Soup has become a new hope for the homeless and child-headed homes.

This non-profit organisation weekly feeds more than 200 children in the area.

The organisation was established Ms Zanele Gwebu and Ms Lindokuhle Magagula, two young women who are passionate about developing their community.

The two have also launched #SanitaryPadsMustBeFree, a sanitary towels drive to donate sanitary towels to women of all ages in Bethal and eMzinoni.

According to Ms Gwebu, learners from various schools and those living at the local dumping site have benefited from this initiative.

“We believe that if an environment is safer for teenagers, then our community will be a better place.

“We kindly ask for any kind of donation to keep our kitchen soup going.”

Various donations such as cabbage, carrots, potatoes, thick soups, salt, cooking oil, maize meal, soya, onions and any other ingredients that can be used in soup, are needed.

For more information, contact Ms Gwebu at 072 437 2500 or Ms Magagula at 076 694 1267.
