Police arrest woman for damaging vehicle in Secunda.

SECUNDA – A man was robbed on Friday, 14 November between Secunda and eMbalenhle.

According to the spokesman of Secunda Police Station, Lt Bettina Zondo, he was travelling to Secunda when a sedan overtook him and stopped in front of him.

Five men with firearms got out of the car and forced him to open his door.

They stole his car keys and bank cards and left.

The man went home to get his spare keys and reported the incident to the police.

No arrests have been made yet.

  • Criminals stole 24 tyres from a local tyre business on Thursday, 13 November.

Everything was in order when employees left on 13 November, but they discovered that the chain on the door was broken when they opened the business the next day.

No arrests have been made and the police are still investigating.

  • A vehicle was damaged on Saturday, 15 November at one of the clubs in Secunda.

According to Lt Zondo, there was a fight at the club and a woman allegedly poured brake fluid over another person’s vehicle.

She was arrested and appeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 17 November.
