Employees get awarded for 20 to 40 years service

SECUNDA – Sasol held its long service ceremony on Tuesday, 11 November at Graceland where Sasol Chemicals Operations and Sasol Mining rewarded employees who have been working for 20 to 40 years.

About 200 employees received awards denoting service of between 20 and 40 years who come from a variety of business units in Sasol and combining the length of service of each of the recipients, brings a total of about 5 000 years working for Sasol.

Under the African Sun, the theme of the evening, emphasised that Sasol’s local facility is based in Mpumalanga which is the first province in South Africa to see the sun rises each morning.

The employees were thanked for their loyalty, commitment and devotion to Sasol.
