CYCC launch baby cot project in Ermelo
According to Ms Elzanet Botes, manager of the baby unit, the cots are more than just a bed to the babies.
The CMR Child and Youth Care Centre in Ermelo launched a project to upgrade their baby unit with new cots.
According to Ms Elzanet Botes, manager of the baby unit, the cots are more than just a bed to the babies. It is their own personal space and safe haven to them.
CMR Child and Youth care centre is home to six babies.
The Baby Unit is run by a manager with childcare workers who work shifts to help with the care of the babies.
Ms Botes added that they aim to raise about R20 000 for the cots, as it will be made specifically to the unique setup at the centre.
