Sharron Wickens is at the helm

Mental Health recently attended an award function in Nelspruit and Ms Gerber was the runner-up in the Mpumalanga finals.

SECUNDA – Ms Welma Gerber and her former committee held a donor function on Friday, 24 October to announce the new committee of Mental Health

The new committee comprises Ms Sharron Wickens (chairman), Ms Nerusha Moodley (vice chairman), Ms Pam Kotze (secretary), Ms Michelle Wickens (treasurer), Ms Bellinah Nkabinde (representative for stimulation centre), Ms Bernita Groenewald (representative for intellectual disability centre), Ms Nicky Ferreira (additional member) and Mr Jannie Gerber (additional member).

Mental Health is a branch of the Provincial Mpumalanga Mental Health Society which was established in 1994.

Mental Health recently attended an award function in Nelspruit and Ms Gerber was the runner-up in the Mpumalanga finals.

Mental Health offers services to surrounding towns as well, such as Trichardt, Bethal, eMzinoni, eMbalenhle, Evander, Kriel, Kinross, Leandra and Hendriena.

The new committee will be opening a new foster home and they hope it will be finished at the end of November.
