eMBALENHLE – Secunda Stars FC launched its sponsorship in style by beating eMzinoni All Stars FC 1-0 in a friendly match at the Risko Fakude Stadium on Sunday afternoon, 14 September.

Zane Mahlangu scored the only goal in the first half in a match that eMzinoni All Stars had to finish with 10 players when Ayanda Sibande was shown a red card in the second half.

The performance of both teams was impressive as they settled early on the ball and created many scoring opportunities.

Secunda Stars unveiled its 22-seater mini bus, that was sponsored by a motor company from Leandra, and a new kit.

The friendly match was played in preparation for the opening of the new season of the Safa Second Division League that will be known as the ABC Motsepe League, when it kicks off before the end of the month.

eMzinoni All Stars will be playing in the league for the first time.

Soccer fans are requested to attend matches when the clubs are playing locally.
