Standerton Police issued a statement on arrests made for the period 9 December until 16 December.
Police apprehended the following number of suspects in connection with various crimes:
• Driving a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor – 19
• Robbery – 3
• Assault (grievous bodily harm) – 2
• Assault common – 1
• Business burglary -1
• Possession of drugs – 6
• Shoplifting – 2
• Dealing in drugs – 8
• Burglary residential – 2
• Murder -2
• Contravention of a protection order – 2
• Rape – 2
• Illegal immigrant – 1
