Lindokuhle invites women of Gert Sibande to rise up

This pageant invites women of different races, sizes and backgrounds to submit their entries through online auditions that will open from 13 January until 14 February.

Ms Lindokuhle Mkhaliphi, CEO and Founder of Miss Gert Sibande pageant invites women to rise up by entering the pageant. This is Gert Sibande’s first ever pageant.

The pageant is aimed at uplifting young women while celebrating beauty through meaningful initiatives and focus on self-development.

According to Ms Mkhaliphi, “We aspire to build young women willingly to become representations of goodwill ambassadors for their respective community and the wider communities of our region.

It means becoming the new face of Gert Sibande that will serve as a role model of influence for the youth and women of today, while moulding and strengthening future leaders for for tomorrow.”

Ms Mkhaliphi and team are on the search for young females across the Gert Sibande region between the ages of 18 and 27 to take part in this two month journey.

“This will be concluded in one night, the prestigious crowning, where one lucky lady will walk away with a cash prize of R10 000 and other amazing prizes.”

This pageant invites women of different races, sizes and backgrounds to submit their entries through online auditions that will open from 13 January until 14 February.

Ms Mkhaliphi added, “Entrants will be required to submit a short video telling us about themselves and why they deserve to win the first ever title of Miss Gert Sibande.”

The first stage of auditions took place at Fathers Moustache in Ermelo on 28 December.
