Msukaligwa Municipality embarked on auditing all water and electricity meters.
The audit commenced in Ermelo Extension 18, Nomndeni, on 19 August.
The aim is to assist the municipality to improve billing accuracy and identify faulty and malfunctioning meters as well as identifying meters that have been tampered with and meters that require replacement or repairs.
Property owners are requested to allow field workers to audit the meters between 8am to 4pm from Monday to Friday.
These workers will be wearing identifiable overalls and will be in possession of name tags which must be produced at all the times.
The municipality requests all residents to cooperate and assist the meter auditing process.
