Shalom Marathon Club elects new leadership
The new chairman of the Shalom Marathon Club is Mr Mzungezi Nhlabathi and Mr Bheki Shongwe is the vice chairman.
Members of the Shalom Marathon Club gathered for the first time at AJ Swanepoel Stadium on Saturday, 16 February to elect the club’s new leaders.
The meeting was presided over Athletics Mpumalanga’s (AMPU) president, Mr Paul Bester.
According to members, the voting went smoothly.
The new chairman of the club is Mr Mzungezi Nhlabathi and Mr Bheki Shongwe is the vice chairman.
Mr Durgesh Tiwari is the treasurer and Mr Bongani Mlangeni is the secretary.
Ms Sthembile Maraga and Mr Themba Nzuza are the additional members.
The Shalom Marathon Club runners are going from strength to strength with its members participating in local, regional and national marathons.
