Amsterdam raceway saw a overall high speed of 222.730km/h from Francois Chamberlain

The event gave racers the opportunity to see how fast they can push their cars and motorcycles on a quarter mile.

Racers enjoyed the chance to show what they are made of at the Drag Race event on Sunday, 20 January.

The event gave racers the opportunity to see how fast they can push their cars and motorcycles on a quarter mile (400m).

It took place at the raceway, just outside of Amsterdam.

Francois Chamberlain achieved the overall high speed of the day with 222.730km/h and a time of 10.856 seconds, Callie de Blanche achieved a speed of 221.860km/h and a time of 10.899 seconds and Stephen Olivier achieved a speed of 211.590km/h with a time of 11.428 seconds.
