Standerton Marathon Club athletes are ready for Comrades Marathon
A total of 19 runners will take part in this year’s Comrades Marathon that is taking place on 10 June.
The athletes of the Standerton Marathon Club taking part in the Comrades Marathon received shirts on 3 June and enjoyed a ’braai’ at the clubhouse.
A total of 19 runners will compete on 10 June.

It is a ‘down run’ from Pietermaritzburg to Durban.
This year is the 46th ‘down run’ and runners will begin their run from 5.30am outside the City Hall, finishing later at the landmark Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
The athletes from the club are Fanyana Amos Ndinisa, Thomas Motaung, Pakesa Tsotetsi, Joshua Moloi, Kenny Swart, Sipho Mngomezulu, Oupa Mlangeni, May Mnisi, Mxolisi Masondo, David Buthelezi, Richard Sangweni, Themba Mbatha, Joseph Manana, Boy Mkize, Lekgotla Dhlamini, Thapelo Selepe, Tshepo Nsibande, David Tsotetsi and Joseph Khumalo.
