A police unit from Gauteng apprehended six suspects, who were on the run from the long arm of the law, in Standerton on 21 February.
Five men and one woman were wanted in connection with a spate of robberies.
Capt Fanie Nhlabathi, communications officer of the Standerton Police, confirmed the arrests.
Their modus operandi was targeting individuals who had just withdrawn money, ranging from R5 000 upwards, from the bank.
