Sakhile man runs foul of the law

The search yielded fruitful results as a plastic bag containing eight sachets of heroin was found.

The Sakhile Police arrested a 52-year-old man on 13 February in connection with dealing in drugs.

The Standerton K9 Unit responded to an anonymous call in this regard and according to them, the suspect acted suspicious upon their arrival.

Their search yielded fruitful results as a plastic bag containing eight sachets of heroin was found.

After a further search, another plastic bag with 11 and a half sachets of mandrax pills was discovered.

The street value of the drugs is R840.
