The search for the suspects at the Standerton Country Club has been ceased, but search parties are widening their endeavours.

According to new information received, fires are currently being started at the Standerton Country Club to smoke out suspects that might be hiding in the dense vegetation.

The white stolen Hilux was found on the Leandra Road at the first Holmdene-turnoff.
The owner as well as the police are currently on the scene.

According to new information another suspect has apparently been apprehended.

Reinforcement in the form of a police helicopter has been deployed.
The helicopter is currently circling above the Standerton Country Club.

Another message has just been sent on the Kasselman group:
“There’s is a white double cab bakkie left abandoned on the R50. Can someone go and check? Possibly involved in this robbery.”

Mr Jaco van Frans’ bakkie was just hijacked near Standerton’s entrance. Be on the lookout for a white Hilux double cab, registration number DFF 010 MP. Please be vigilant, suspects are heavily armed

29 June – 9.06am
Heavily armed men are on the run after an alleged transit heist on the Bethal Road.
A pursuit ensued with Kasselman shooting and wounding some of the robbers.
According to information received, four suspects have been arrested.
Mr Jannie Kasselman of Kasselman Security Services sent out a WhatsApp voice clip informing golfers at the Standerton Country Club to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity as four to six armed men were moving in the direction of the golf club as well as the Gert Sibande College.
This is a developing story and information is still vague.
