Learners from King Edward’s School (KES) in England visited Hoërskool Ermelo last week.
This annual event offers learners from both continents the opportunity to learn from each other in a sporting manner.
On Thursday, the Erries played a couple of friendly but challenging netball and rugby matches against KES.
The Erries learned a lot on and off the netball court and lost two of the three matches played against KES.
Two rugby matches were played on the day with EHS and KES each winning a match.
Afterwards there was a post-match function where the players and coaches of both schools could socialise and get to know one another.
It was a great experience for the Erries and they are looking forward to welcoming KES back next year.
