CPF apprehends three suspects after break-in at Gert Sibande College

They apprehended all three at the taxi rank

Mr Charles Msibi of the Community Policing Forum (CPF) was instrumental in apprehending three suspects in connection with a break-in at Gert Sibande College.

Mr Tebego Tsotetsi, a contractor at the college, left his tools for building construction locked inside the building and found both doors open on 22 October.

He phoned the Standerton Police and reported the theft of his tools and a burglary case was opened.

Mr Tsotetsi also contacted Mr Msibi and they went to the Standerton Taxi Rank after taking a look at the CCTV-cameras which identified three thieves.

They apprehended all three at the taxi rank and one admitted to selling a tool at the pawnshop, while the other tools were sold to a person at the taxi rank.

The Standerton Advertiser contacted Mr Tsotetsi on 26 October and he said a grinder was returned to him, while the rest of his belongings were yet to be returned.

Mr Tsotetsi thanked Mr Msibi for his part in bringing criminals to book.
