Eskom launches mobile clinic in Sakhile

Eskom provided the Lekwa community with a mobile clinic.

Eskom Tutuka Power Station launched a mobile clinic in Rooikoppen at the Saving Grace Pre-School on 24 November.

This is part of Eskom’s social responsibility in communities within their operation area.

They will provide social support to previously disadvantaged communities and aims to provide health care to those who do not have access to it.

Eskom has spent R15 million buying a fully equipped clinic that offer different services including dental care and eye tests.

The clinic’s primary focus is serving pre-primary pupils.

It was launched in Daggakraal on 17 October and later moved to Amersfoort and will be moving to different pre-schools around Sakhile.

Parents are requested to sign consent forms which will be available at every centre it visits.

The schedule is as follows;

Atec Centre in Azalea from 27 November to 3 December between 8am and 5pm. Lethukukhanya Day Care Centre in Ext 7 on 4 and 5 December between 8am and 5pm.
