Burnt baby’s remains found underneath a few sheets of newspaper
A cattle herder found the remains of a burnt baby at an abandoned building between Ext 6 and Earlybird Farm Factory under a few sheets of newspaper.
A cattle herder has found the remains of a baby beside an abandoned building between Ext 6 and Earlybird Farm Factory under a few sheets of newspaper moments ago.
“The man contacted the police to say he had found a foetus next to the building.
“But after closer examination by the pathologist the remains were discovered to be that of a burnt baby,” Lt Fanie Nhlabathi, spokesman of the Standerton Police, said.
The police opened a case of murder.
Another baby was found next to the Robertsdrift Road on 16 November.
The police collected the infant and took him to a local trauma centre.
