SAKHILE – The Sakhile Community Policing Forum (CPF) apprehended a man who stole a stove in Rooikoppen last Thursday and handed him over to the police. According to the chairman, Mr Charles Msibi, they received a call from another CPF member who told them about the criminal.
They investigated and went to a scrap yard in town and found the man selling the stove. According to Mr Msibi, there was no one in the house in Rooikoppen when the appliance was stolen.
The stove was outside in the yard.
The man said he took the stove to sell it so he can buy something to eat.
The suspect was arrested.
