Generosity is a way of life for Sihle Mabena and his eMba friends

They encourage those who help others not to do it for publicity

eMBALENHLE – Giving to the needy should not be a publicity stunt, but a good gesture to bring about positive change in the community.

These sentiments were shared by artists Sihle Mabena, Mzwandile Mathebula and Scott who recently donated school uniforms to over 50 learners from various schools.

The three friends noticed that they were influential in the area and used this advantage to motivate their friends and families to donate new and second-hand clothes to the needy.

The response was positive and resulted to many learners receiving donations.

Sihle said they are still overwhelmed by the response and thanked all who contributed.

He said they will continue with other projects and intend to collect groceries for the needy learners.

“Every child deserves to go to school in a dignified manner, proper uniform and with a full stomach. Those of us who have a little can assist those who have nothing at all.”

Regardless of the good work they are doing, the three refused to take pictures and said this is not for publicity purposes.
