The event is aimed at empowering young people with knowledge
eMBALENHLE – Young people are invited to attend the eMbalenhle Youth Empowerment Seminar at Raisibe Garden Guest House (KaMaleleza) on Saturday, 14 June.
The event will begin at 10 am and entrance is free.
The event is hosted by Ghetto Heroes with the intention to discuss the challenges faced by the youth and solutions to these problems.
Various speakers such as Zamani Ngumede, Hector Motivator, Vusi Nzima, Maud Mphuthi, Samson Mamphweni, Lulolwethu Luthuli and Thuli Mahlangu will take part in the event.
Mr Malwande Mgotywa, organiser, said the youth of eMbalenhle and surrounding towns are faced with a lot of social and other challenges.
“Through this event we want to equip them with the relevant information that they can use to better their lives.
“We have a problem with the high unemployment rate, so we have speakers that will be giving business ideas on how the youth can create their own employment.
“We have invited three government organisations that will fund the young people in order to begin their own businesses.
“We have speakers from five provinces that will be tackling different issues that are killing our youth.
“We want to achieve a mentally strong eMbalenhle that is ready to fight unemployment and violence in our community.”
