Alleged fraudster to appear in Evander Court

The case in Nebo was postponed to 11 June for formal bail application.

HIGHVELD – An alleged con-artist from eMbalenhle suspected of running an illegal pyramid scheme named Weekly Cash Flow, appeared before the Nebo Magistrate’ s Court today, 30 May.

Lucky Mayane (45) is facing multiple charges of fraud.

The police were on a national search for Mayane who began his scheme in eMbalenhle in 2011.

He later expanded to Lyttleton in Pretoria and Nebo in Limpopo.

Mayane’s photo was circulated on social media this week and led to his arrest in Limpopo.

The case in Nebo was postponed to 11 June for formal bail application.

Mayane will be appearing in Evander Magistrate’s Court on 3 June.
