Man dies in accident between Bethal and Hendrina
The driver of the broken down vehicle was standing outside and was run over during the impact.
BETHAL – A man died and two others sustained minor injuries when two bakkies collided between Bethal and Hendrina this morning, 1 May.
The accident happened at about 6.40am.
According to Ms Cindy Swart from Bethal EMS, one of the vehicles broke down in the road and was stationary when the other bakkie crashed into the first vehicle.
The driver of the broken down vehicle was standing outside and was run over during the impact.
He was declared dead on the scene.
Bethal EMS and the police were on the scene.
