Teksa Radio Control Model Club’s annual fly-in event

These model planes included several jaw-dropping models, such as a miniature jet engine that operates as the real thing.

TRICHARDT – The Teksa Radio Control Model Club (TRCMC) held their annual fly-in event at their airstrip at Trichardt on Saturday, 13 April.

According to Mr Willem Schoombee, secretary of the club, members from several other clubs came to join in the activities.

He said 24 pilots attended with 42 aeroplanes taking to the air on Saturday.

These model planes included several jaw-dropping models, such as a miniature jet engine that operates as the real thing.

These pilots presented a dual flight show.
Messrs Johan van Vuuren (Teksa Remote Control Model Club chairman) and Roland Suhrmuller from Johannesburg with a jet plane that entertained the audience at the fly-in.
