Accidents reported in Govan Mbeki municipal area this morning
Two accidents happened within an hour of each other in the area this morning, 8 April.
HIGHVELD – Two accidents happened within an hour of each other in the area this morning, 8 April.
The first incident reported this morning happened on the N17 highway between Trichardt and the water reservoirs at about 6am.
The driver claimed that another vehicle overtook her on a bend, and cutting them off. This forced them onto the edge of the road.
She lost control over the vehicle and it rolled into the veld.
The woman and her passenger sustained slight injuries.
ER24 transported the two to hospital.
Sectri Autobody and GTR were on the scene.
The second incident involved two vehicles that collided on the R546 at the Irenedale turn-off near Charl Cilliers just before 7am.
Two people sustained moderate injuries and three sustained slight injuries.
The provincial EMS transported a woman and her child who were in a Corolla to Standerton
Hospital.
Langamed South took the three people in the Corsa to hospital.
The Govan Mbeki municipal firebrigade, Sectri Autobody and JTR were on the scene.
