Dancers excel at SA champs
The original team of C.F. Els Dance Studio and a group of Step 2 Dream Dance Academy were part of a Top 20 group chosen to represent Mpumalanga at the national championships.
SECUNDA – Dancers from two local dance schools were chosen for and excelled at the South African Dance Championship held in Margate recently.
The dancers obtained a silver medal.
The original team of C.F. Els Dance Studio and a group of Step 2 Dream Dance Academy were part of a Top 20 group chosen to represent Mpumalanga at the national championships.
This selection was done in September at the Mpumalanga Championship when these dancers were awarded their provincial colours in dance.
They were led by captains Melissa Lourens from C.F. Dance Studio and Jaco van der Westhuizen from Step 2 Dream.
Mr Christiaan Els is their manager and main dance instructor.
