Fatal accident on the R546 between eMbalenhle and Evander claims three lives
Motorists are urged to avoid this road.
EVANDER – A small child is confirmed to be among those who died in an accident near Walker Park Golf Club this morning, 27 October.
Two cars and a truck were involved in the accident.
Reports thus far are that the truck driver, as well as a man and child in one of the vehicles, have died.
The number of injured has not yet been confirmed.
Mr Alf Byleveldt from Jelani Security was one of the first people to arrive on the scene. He was with the truck driver when he died.
The truck was apparently transporting a liquid solvent, possibly liquid fertilizer or caustic soda.
