Parents interrupt teaching and learning at Roodebank Primary School

Police were called and a brief meeting was held by the concerned parents and the principal.

eMBALENHLE – Disgruntled parents vowed to close down Roodebank Primary School until the Department of Education meets their demands following their unhappiness with the school principal on Tuesday, 28 August.

They instructed the teachers and learners to leave the classrooms and told them to return on Monday.

The parents are accusing the school principal of nepotism, mal-administration and of being biased towards other teachers.

Police were called and a brief meeting was held by the concerned parents and the principal.

It was agreed that they will hold a school governing body meeting on Sunday.
