An accused child molester claims the charges against him are an attempt to keep him away from his children.
The 40-year-old man wiped away tears where he stood in the witness stand of the Sexual Offenses Court on Friday, 9 February.
He is on trial for a string of charges, including that of repeatedly battering and raping his wife who was only 15 when they met, raping and molesting her two younger sisters, and molesting his own daughter.
His wife was 18 years old when they married.
Some of the offences date to as far back as 2002 when his two sisters-in-law were respectively nine and 14 years old.
According to their testimonies at previous court appearances, he sexually molested the nine year old by shoving his hand into her panties and making her hold his erect penis.
He allegedly raped the 14 year old and forced her to be a third party while he had sex with his teenage wife.
The man denied this on Friday and said this sister-in-law was a lesbian.
He also denied that he had sex with his wife in front of his daughter who, at that time, was still a toddler.
It was testified that in that incident, he rubbed his erect penis on his daughter’s lips.
