[BREAKING NEWS] Six-vehicle pile up on R546 road between Extension 12, eMbalenhle and Charlie 3 gate
A truck hit an Eskom cable that supplies eMbalenhle with electricity.
Six vehicles were involved in an accident on the R546 road between Extension 12 in eMbalenhle and Charlie 3 gate, Secunda this morning.
According to Mr Jaco Horn (Snr) from GTR Towing, two tipper lorries, one side tipper and three cars were involved.
Only one person apparently sustained injuries and was transported to hospital by ER24.
According to Mr Bheki Kubheka, spokesman for Govan Mbeki Municipality, a truck hit the Eskom cable that supplies eMbalenhle with electricity.
This has affected the electricity supply to eMbalenhle.
