EVANDER – The body of a 22-year-old man was found near the Secunda-Evander road at around 8pm on Monday, 27 June.
Sgt Sibusiso Mbuli from Evander Police Station said the man was dressed in a red jersey, yellow T-shirt, green pants and black and white Adidas sneakers.
He was found with a black school bag with books inside it including Higher Education, Applied Accounting Level 2 question papers.
According to the police, there were no visible wounds or injuries on his body.
The body was identified and the police urge students not to hitchhike alone.
They also request anyone with information regarding the person to contact W/O Gloy of Evander Police Station at 017 632 2322.
