Join DA march to have specialised police units reinstalled

Everyone who would like to join the march, must come together at the Lillian Ngoyi Centre at 10am on Tuesday, 24 November.

SECUNDA – The Democratic Alliance Mpumalanga Youth (DAY) invites the community to march for the return of specialised police units to deal with drug related crimes.

Mr Muso Kubhek (DAY Mpumalanga chairman) will lead the march on Tuesday, 24 November.

The horrific increase in drug-related crimes is a stark reason why specialised crime units need to be re-established.

The use of drugs among young people brings many risks, including them getting involved in criminal activities.

The high rate of illicit drug use among the youth has also increased steadily.

The DA will submit a petition to the South African Police Service Secunda, calling for the re-establishment of specialised police units.

Everyone who would like to join the march, must come together at the Lillian Ngoyi Centre at 10am.

The march will end at the Secunda Police Station.
