Motorist dies in accident on R546 between Evander and eMbalenhle

A 36-year-old man died and a 25-year-old man suffered injuries after losing control of their light-motor-vehicle and rolling some 50 meters from the R546 between Evander and eMbalenhle on Saturday night, April 29.
ER24 was on scene at 21:25 along with all emergency services.
According to Ross Campbell, spokesman for ER 24, the 36-year-old driver was found entrapped in the BMW and showing no signs of life.
Campbell said nothing could be done for the man and he was declared dead on arrival by ER24.
“The 25-year-old passenger had managed to self-extricate from the wreck and was found next to the vehicle having suffered moderate injuries. He was then treated and transported to hospital for further care by ER24.”
The cause of the incident is unknown to ER24, but SAPS were on the scene for further investigations.
