Luiperds Karate Club in Bronkhorstspruit grades fighters
Karatekas were evaluated in the Dinky and Kyu categories.
Luiperds Karate Club in Bronkhorstspruit held their second annual grading on October 15.
“A grading ceremony involves students being assessed based on a specific syllabus by a panel of black belts. If they pass the assessment, they are promoted to their next belt,” explained Lisa Schnetler who is a third Dan.
“We are proud to announce that all students who attempted the grading successfully passed,” bragged Schnetler.
The young students who graded in the dinky category are Aahil Mahmood (dinky blue); Boeta Kleingeld (dinky yellow); Anaaya Mehmood (dinky blue), Mpilo Masilela (dinky purple); Muhammed Mehmood (dinky blue); Lindo Sikhosana (dinky red) and Aaira Mahmood (dinky blue).
The studens in the kyu gradings were done by Katiso Maholwana (pre-yellow); Mpilo Sikhosana (pre-yellow); EC Maritz (9th kyu pre-yelllow); Christeri Kleingeld (9th kyu pre-yellow); Milhan van der Berg (yellow); Humna Nanabhai (yellow); Isa Nanabhai (yellow); Zayna Nanabhai (8th kyu yellow); Pieter-Adriaan Viljoen (8th kyu yellow); Lené Viljoen (8th kyu yellow); Zano Masilela (orange); Ilonka Palm (orange); Nipho Masilela (7th kyu orange); Werner Swanepoel (blue); Aidan du Toit (blue); Gustav Palm (red 1); Franco Palm (juniot brown 2); Christo Swanepoel (3rd kyu brown); Dian van der Walt (yellow); Shireen Ameermia (8th kyu yellow); Musa Zando (blue) and Johan du Venhage (yellow).
