GMM hosts prayer day in Secunda

The Govan Mbeki Municipality’s speaker held a prayer day at Lillian Ngoyi Centre in Secunda on Friday, October 14.

According to the speaker of the Council, Fikile Magagamela, they prayed over gender-based violence, road accidents, service delivery, and various challenges faced by communities, promoting values of cohesion and respect among communities.

Different community formations attended the prayer day, including local pastors and community grouping from all corners of the municipality.

The event was graced by Hlengiwe Mhlaba, a well-known gospel artist. Councillors from different political parties were also present on the prayer day.
