Mr Christopher (Stoffie) Graham Watson appeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court today, November 11, in connection with the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Ms Angelique Fourie.
Ms Fourie was murdered in her townhouse at Terra Nova in Trichardt on Sunday night, 7 November.
The young mother’s body was found in the bathroom in a pool of blood.
Mr Watson was in the wind on Monday morning, November 8, and it was widely shared on social media that he was being sought by the police.
He handed himself over to the police in Norkempark in Gauteng on Tuesday, November 9 and appeared in the docks for the first time today.
The case is postponed to Wednesday, November 17.
He remains in police custody.
