GMM locals encouraged to pay municipal accounts

Payment points and enquiries offices are open to members of the public from Monday to Friday from 8am till 12mp.

HIGHVELD – The Govan Mbeki Municipality is encouraging residents to pay for their services.

The municipality thanked the residents who have made payments of municipal accounts during the Level 3 lockdown.

Council said this will ensure continued service delivery.

Payment points and enquiries offices are open to members of the public from Monday to Friday from 8am till 12mp.

Residents who are able, to pay their municipal accounts at the identified alternative payment points.

Residents can pay for their account or buy electricity at any of these listed vendors: Shoprite/Checkers, Post Office, Pick n Pay via EasyPay or filling stations.

Payments can also be made via electronic fund transfers to:

Residents are urged to always use their account number as reference when making payment.

Those who would like to receive their statement via e-mail can inform the municipality by sending their details to sonto.m@govanmbeki.gov.za or joel.m@govanmbeki.gov.za.

The municipality has enforced strict rules and regulations in all its buildings to ensure that no person is at risk of contracting the Covid-19.

The municipality urged locals to ensure that their continue practicing healthy hygiene habits and social distancing when visiting municipal offices.

Hand sanitizers are found in all main entrances.

Remembers to wear a mask at all times when you are out in public.

Customer care officials can also be reached via the municipal call centre at 0800 6000 01/2/4, should the need arise or via Whatsapp number by sending your details to 083 790 0659.
