eMBALENHLE – Extension 20 residents are up in arms after the Mr Dan Nhlapho, MMC for Technical Services, refused to address them about the electricity crisis in the area.
The residents said they went to Secunda to see him however he told them that he is at eMabalenhle Fire Station.
“He then told us to come see him there.
“When we got there, he didn’t bother to attend to us. He was speaking on the phone and told us to stand aside.
“He left us standing and said we must contact the officials.”
Residents said they have been without power for more than three months.
They alleged they have reported the matter several times, without luck.
