Man dies in accident between Secunda and eMbalenhle
Two taxi’s and a light motor vehicle collided and 13 people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
SECUNDA – One person died in a car accident between Graceland and eMbalenhle at approximately 6.39am this morning.
Two taxi’s and a light motor vehicle collided and 13 people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
They were taken to hospital by various ambulance services.
According to Ms Ineke van Huyssteen, spokesman for ER24, the taxi was lying on its side with passengers standing next to the road when ER24 arrived on the scene.
“They found one man lying in the back of the taxi. He was declared dead on the scene,” said Ms Van Huyssteen.
The police were also on the scene and are investigating the cause of the accident.
