Series: The Equalizer

Oscar nominee Queen Latifah (Chicago) plays Robyn McCall, a single mother and former CIA operative who helps those with nowhere else to turn.

Movie: Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins stars Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) as Snake Eyes, a tenacious loner who is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage, where he finds a home and learns the ways of the ninja warrior.

For the kids: Sing 2

The biggest animated film of 2021 comes with big dreams, spectacular hit songs, and an all-star voice cast that includes Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Letitia Wright, Pharrell Williams and U2’s Bono. Also catch the first movie – Sing – on Showmax. 

Netflix:

Series: Ludik

To save a kidnapped family member, an enterprising furniture tycoon must use his secret diamond smuggling operation to transport guns across the border.

Movie: Me Time

With his family away, a devoted stay-at-home dad enjoys his first me time in years by joining his hard-partying old friend on a wild birthday adventure.

For the kids:  Lost Ollie

A patchwork rabbit with floppy ears and fuzzy memories embarks on an epic quest to find his best friend — the young boy he desperately loves.
