Series: The L Word: Generation Q

In this sequel to the ground-breaking, Emmy-nominated 2004-2009 series, Golden Globe nominee Jennifer Beals (Flashdance), Kate Moennig (Ray Donovan) and Leisha Hailey (CSI) reprise their original roles alongside a new generation of diverse, self-possessed LGBTQIA+ characters as they take on love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in LA.

Movie: Summerland

Set in an idyllic South England seaside village, British drama Summerland sees a reclusive writer reluctantly taking in a young evacuee from London during World War II.

For the kids:  Takalani Sesame

We are all special, and we all belong! Takalani Sesame turns 21 this year, and to celebrate, Showmax is bringing the beloved, award-winning local take on Sesame Street to our screens from this month. Join the adorable Elmo and Zuzu as they go on new adventures with their friends to find out what makes them special, and learn heaps of clever stuff along the way.

A blind woman with vices finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation when her best friend turns up dead.

Movie: Victoria & Abdul

A cheerfully naïve clerk from India visits England to bestow a gift on Queen Victoria, then strikes up an unlikely friendship with the lonely monarch.

For the kids: Karma’s World

Lyrically gifted middle schooler Karma juggles rap dreams and rhyme schemes while using her talent, ambition and heart to solve any problem.
